Meeting point:
Avaskär, at the parking lot to the south of Avaskär church/chapel. In Kristianopel, walk/drive north on the main street "Storgatan" towards Avaskär. After leaving the northern entrance to Kristianopel, walk/drive about 400 meters and there is a parking lot. Your guide will meet you there.
Accessibility:
The tour is wheelchair/walker accessible. We will be following the streets. Walking distance is approximately 1500 meters.
Activity details:
Experience the history of the city of Kristianopel together with an actor as guide. The guide, in the role of one of the city´s prominent historic characters, will bring you on a dramatised walking tour on old streets and through historic squares and alleys. The city was once founded by the danish king Christian IV. See the well kept city wall, the quaint little wooden houses, beautiful gardens, cobble streets, the ancient church and much more. A theatrical guided city tour in Kristianopel, the first renaissance city in the Nordic region!
