Introduction to Swedish edible mushrooms

A complete introduction to foraging for wild mushrooms. For the beginner to intermediate picker. Language - English.

We take a gentle 3 hour walk through beautiful forest including a snack (fika) followed by an outdoor tasting session. We look at the basics of understanding fungi plus when, where and how to pick. How to safely identify some beginner mushrooms and avoid dangerous look-alikes. We explore how to clean, capture, store, and cook.

Bring comfortable walking shoes, weather appropriate clothes and curiosity.
Calm dogs may be permitted on these tours subject to PRIOR discussion and max 1 per event.
