The Alehouse Sessions
Imagine travelling back to around 1650 and visiting a tavern or pub in London, perhaps fortifying yourself with a pint or two and some food while enjoying an improvised concert blending art music, drama and the folk music of the time. This evening, under the direction of Bjarte Eike and Barokksolistene, you are taken on a journey through an energetic and emotionally charged mix of sea-scented songs, rhythmic dance tunes, moving folk ballads and music created for the magic of the stage.
