”Ett fyrfaldigt leve för det gamla, fina, svenska klassamhället!” Jag är nyfiken − blå är fortsättningen på Vilgot Sjömans samhällskritiska filmklassiker från 1968. En ung Lena Nyman sondera hur det står till med det svenska folkets samvete och de borgerliga institutionerna − kyrkan, äktenskapet och kriminalvården får sig en känga. Med hela sin kropp demonstrerar Nyman mot konservatismen genom att tänja på den normativa sexualitetens gränser och utforska ALLT! Men även sexualliberalismen har sina baksidor, vilka stavas svartsjuka och skabb. Filmens experimenterande framställning gör det omöjligt för åskådaren att skilja mellan fiktion och verklighet.

I Am Curious (Blue) is the sequel of Vilgot Sjöman’s socially critical cult classic from 1968. A young Lena Nyman examines the conscience of the Swedish people and the institutions shaped by the bourgeoisie − the church, the matrimony and the prisons are being criticised. With her whole body Nyman constitutes a resistance against conservatism by bending the rules of sexuality and exploring everything! But sexual liberalism also has its downsides, jealousy and scabies among them. The experimental presentation of the film makes it impossible for the audience to distinguish between fiction and reality.
