”Efter Bergman är ett manusstipendium som riktar sig till nordiska auteurer, skrivande filmskapare. Det är utformat som ett skrivarresidens för långfilm eller dramaserie på Bergmangårdarna på Fårö med tillgång till en dramaturg. Stipendiet delas ut till en filmskapare vars manus är angeläget för vår tid, uppvisar originalitet och besitter en egen röst. ”Efter Bergman” delas ut av Bergmangårdarna, Bergmancenter, Film Stockholm AB, Svenska Kyrkan, Storyutbildningen på Fårösunds Folkhögskola och Film på Gotland. 2021 års vinnare tillkännages under Bergmanveckan och får traditionsenligt sitt pris under vår årliga quizkväll!
Sabina Zupanc blev förra årets vinnare, med manuset till TV-serien Fuck my Life.

”After Bergman” is a script grant for Nordic filmmakers, and the intention is to highlight the significance of the screenplay in filmmaking. The grant goes to a filmmaker whose script is inspired by Ingmar Bergman’s body of work. The grant consists of a residency at the Bergman Estate with a script coach. The accepted formats are feature film or drama series. ”After Bergman” is arranged by the Bergman Estate, the Bergman Center, Film Capital Stockholm, the Church of Sweden, the Story Academy in Fårösund and Film på Gotland. The winner will be announced during the Bergman Week, and the recipient will be handed the prize on our yearly quiz night! Sabina Zupanc was last year’s winner, with the script for the TV Series Fuck My Life. Here you can get a unique glimpse into the process.
